Finishing Touches ACCESSORY GALLERY In 1978, Jean Smith, Interior Designer, opened her first retail store in West Texas. She offered residential and commercial design service, as well as a unique gift and decorative accessory shop. In 1982 Jean moved her shop to Dallas, Texas where she was able to expand and add accent furniture items to her already large selection of home decor items and design services. While working in the Dallas area, she became aware of First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas, a quiet town east of Dallas. With her love for the country, she closed her business in Dallas and went to Canton, where she is still doing business at First Monday, offering that high designer look at affordable prices, coupled with outstanding customer service. Today, in addition to her shop, Jean's Interiors at First Monday, she is now offering her customers the opportunities to shop her online store, The Accessory Gallery. |

First Monday is a 133 year old tradition in the lovely East Texas town of Canton. What started as an old fashioned Trade Day event in this small, rural town has since blossomed into the largest trade show in the country.
